2015 Fall Trends; New York Fashion Week

Another great fashion event took place in New York and brought into fashion some cool and trendy looks for 2015 fall. New York Fashion Week continues setting trends of coming season and though we have just started enjoying summer days fashion trendsetters have already set fall trends.

2015 Fall Trends; New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week proved one more time that ’70s style is the main trend of fall and we have seen a lot of retro looks and retro influence in previous Fashion Weeks.

Fringe

Fringe is maybe the best characteristic detail of ’70s fashion. It was seen on spring fashion weeks and it is still present in fall collections. Fringe is added on accessories, garments, boots and even bags.

Orange

Bright neon color palette is next characteristic feature of the past decade. At this time the main color line was orange and shades of tangerine that was seen in several collections.

Victoria Beckham, Prabal Gurung to Lisa Perry, Narciso Rodriguez.

Asymmetrical Hemlines

Asymmetry was seen on Milan Fashion Week and we have expected to see bold asymmetric cuts on NYFW. Asymmetric hemlines looked really impressive on dresses and outerwear garments.

Pink

The misconception about season colors no longer works especially after those gorgeous pink garments seen on the catwalk. Actually it was the biggest trend from New York Fashion Week.

Lace Tights and Pants

It was really surprising to use lace tights and pants in an unexpected combinations. Still textured tights and pants were included in several designer shows.

Layered Crop Tops

Though we prefer crop tops for spring and summer designers offered layered crop tops for cooler season as well.

Feathers

A dramatic look of feathers made New York Fashion Week. Most looks are conceptual yet if you are the lover of massive and embellishments and detail, you will like those garments.
