London Fashion Week for Sping 2014: Retro Styles

London Fashion Week is another important event in fashion industry that showed us the best designer collections that are going to be popular next spring. Modern, elegant, classy and asymmetric, bold and sporty, all those styles were present on the catwalk. There is one distinguishing feature that I want to say about London Fashion Week; many designers got inspiration from retro styles of 60s and 70s. Catwalk was full of smashing designer collections with bohemian vibe of 70s so let’s check out some of the best designs.

First fashion show that I want to represent you is Holly Fulton’s spring 2014 collection that offers designer pieces with floral prints and patterns. Designer’s signature spiced up with bright tones of 70s turned this show into a real parade of crazy colors.

Another retro collection that captured everyone’s attention was Jonathan Saunders 2014 spring collection. Designer turned to the styles, prints and patterns of 70s and 90s and as a result he represented line of beautiful shirts with floral prints, high waist skirts, jackets, dresses and etc.

More elegant and subtle tones were spotted on Topshop fashion show that was held during London Fashion Week. Topshop Unique collection is more bohemian and romantic with a bit darker and subtle tones and geometric cuts.

Get ready to jazz up 2014 spring with vibrant tones and bold cuts by Temperley London. Retro styles from 60s looked really cool combined with floral prints and embellishments.

Peter Jensen also chose retro allure as the main signature line for 2014 spring collection. Again colorful prints and patterns are present in almost all pieces. As a complement to retro clothing hair stylists chose fluffy retro curls.
